Pay by Plate is here
The Blenheim and Picton parking system has changed to Pay by Plate
Pay by Plate Parking (PBP)
'Pay by Plate' (PBP) is a ticketless system that uses your vehicle licence plate number to record your parking time and payment. You do not need to return to the vehicle to display a ticket because your licence plate number is used to confirm your parking has been paid.
The Alfred Street Car Park building changed to 'Pay by Plate' in November 2021, resulting in tickets no longer being required.
You now need to pay for your parking session using your licence plate number, before you leave the building.
Remember, if you don't get to the screen "transaction completed", your license plate hasn't been registered and you will be liable for an infringement.
The carpark is a Zone 3 park and the fees will remain at $1.20 per hour and $4.80 per day (+5 hours) with the first hour free.

You are required to enter the correct Licence Plate number when paying for your parking.
